So I'm reading Watership Down by Richard Adams. One of my co-workers recommended it to me, and so far I really like it. The reason for this post is that the book is about rabbits, with an underlying message of course. Reading it has made me think of Todd. For those of you who don't know about Todd, he is an adorable wild bunny that Andy found and brought home to me last fall when we were living in Port Orchard. We kept him for a few days and my niece and I bonded over the experience of holding and feeding this adorable baby bunny. After a couple days, we decided it would be best to put him back where Andy found him, so we said our goodbyes to my furry friend.
So adarable! You are a sweet Aunt and that was cool of Andy to bring him home to you:)
ReplyDeleteI've never read Watership Down, maybe I will one of these days.
Okay, I totally laughed about Todd :) I knew what you were talking about as soon as I saw the name :)
ReplyDeleteSecond, I LOVE Watership Down! I was 13 when I read it... I still remember where I was sitting and what song kept coming on the radio while I was reading it (No Hippychick). Good times! I should read it again!
PS, Russ just said "hoh-ee?" Yay!
Thanks Momma! You really should read it...it's way good.
ReplyDeleteCourtney- I'm so happy you remember Todd :) Haha and Russell makes me so happy too! I need to see that kid again soon
