UPDATE TIME!

 This is what our front room normally looks like...not bad right? In fact, I kind of like it :) But then disaster struck...

We were in the process of moving things around, because I like to do that every once in awhile. Then I decided to start a sewing project (a shirt for Andy...so much harder than I thought!) and we decided the next day that we wanted to go camping...so everything ended up in our living room, as pictured below. It's still kind of a mess. Apartment living? Yeah, I'm definitely not a fan. 

So we went backpacking over Labor Day weekend. I love my job...I get all holidays OFF! It's wonderful :) After driving around for 3 hours, being lost because of lame google map directions, we found another hike to do. It was dinner time by the time we started our hike...thank goodness the hike was only about 2 miles! And we found a great campsite.

I love hikes by the river...there's something about water that just makes me happy :)

Here I am with my little knife Andy gave me, sharpening my hot dog roasting stick. Campfire hot dogs are THE BEST. 

After a good, long night's rest, Andy got to go fishing! He was pretty happy about that...of course it doesn't show in his pictures lol

Really cool huge tree we spotted. Nature never ceases to amaze me.

I figured we should have a picture of us together, no matter what we looked like :) I just love pictures.

Andy flyfishing again...it really is a lot more interactive than normal fishing. 

And I thought this was a pretty shot. I'm not a pro or anything, but I think I do okay with my point and shoot :)
